Oliver Foundation Teen Advisory Board
The Oliver Foundation Teen Advisory Board‘s mission is to energize kids and teens to be more health-conscious through community and school outreach projects that encourage lifelong healthy eating and physical activity habits. As Teen Board members, we serve as role models to our peers through our commitment to promoting our motto:
“YEAH!”– YOUTH EXCITED ABOUT HEALTH! Our goal is to inspire and motivate our generation to live healthy, balanced life and make healthy choices. The Oliver Foundation Teen Advisory Board was established in 2004 and remains an active advisory board to the Oliver Foundation.

Siddharth Satish
President
Clements HS – Sugar Land, Texas
Teen Board Member 2021 – Present
Siddharth is a senior at Clements High School. He plays badminton, basketball and football and participates in many tournaments for them. Sid also plays the western and carnatic flute to practice classical music in both European and Indian forms. He is an avid spelling enthusiast who has represented his school at the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Sid has won awards in Science Fair and Science Olympiad in middle school. He has also volunteered at many places such as the Houston Food Bank and fundraising functions/events.
Ayla Patel

Ayla is a junior at The Kinkaid School. She is passionate about connecting with her community through numerous community service efforts, such as holding a Board position in the Student Hero Program at the Houston Food Bank, as well as being Co-Founder and Co-President of her school’s Kinkaid Welcomes Refugees Club. Additionally, Ayla enjoys playing violin, and competes in numerous competitions annually. Outside of school and extracurriculars, Ayla enjoys running, spending time with her friends and family, and reading.
Ariyana Patel

Ariyana is a sophomore at Travis High School . She is a member of the GSA academy program, GIS committee ,SASA program , and a Debate club member. In addition, her extra-curricular activities include piano, dance – Bollywood, and she has been a member of Girl Scouts for the past 9 years. In the future, she would like to continue her community volunteer efforts and aspires to become a Medical Doctor, either as a Neurologist or Cardiologist.
Jack Brown

Jack is a sophomore at Memorial High School. He believes in service and loves helping others. Jack enjoys volunteering at his church in a variety of outreach ministries. He serves on the Texas Children’s Food Allergy Teen Board and is also a part of Model UN and STUCO at his school. Jack was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease at the age of four. He believes the daily hardships that he faces with his health make him more empathetic and compassionate towards others with hardships. Jack hopes to become a doctor to serve others and help them live a better and longer life. In his free time Jack enjoys running, working out, playing board games, and reading.

Matthew is a sophomore at Memorial High School. He is part of National Honor Society and a member of the Lyrica Orchestra. He is active in Boy Scout troop 642, and he is an assistant senior patrol leader, a life scout, and one of the troops representatives to the Order of the Arrow. To stay active, he attends Boy Scout campouts and plays soccer. Outside of school, Matthew is part of Kumon, Boy Scouts, and SBMSA soccer. In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading and playing chess.

Ava is a senior at Travis High School. She is proudly a member of Academic Decathlon and HOSA. Ava likes watching and playing AFL as well as cooking and playing guitar in her free time. Her favorite subject is science, and she aspires to be a trauma surgeon.
Raina Sheth

Raina is a sophomore at Elkins High School, where she’s an active member of the varsity dance team. She participates in many clubs, including Girl Up, the South Asian Student Association, and the Hindu Student Association. This year, Raina is excited to launch her new club focused on creating cards for and volunteering in local nursing homes. Outside of school, she has been practicing Bollywood dance for over 10 years and volunteers at a nursing home. Raina dreams of becoming a dermatologist in the future.

Niketa is a freshman at Dulles High School. She participates in 2 types of Indian Dance: Bollywood and Bharatanatyam. She also volunteers at the Houston Food Bank.
Andrew Wright

Andrew is a junior at The Kincaid School. He is a scholar athlete, serves on the Kinkaid Advisory Board and is a member of the Young Men’s Service League where he serves as the Leadership Committee Chair. Andrew currently serves as the Secretary for the West University Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League and a member of the Houston Museum of Natural Science Teen Advisory Council. He is an alumni member of the Texas Lonestar Leadership Academy and a summer graduate of the National Youth Leadership forum. Andrew completed a research camp at Brown University this past summer and volunteered at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. He enjoys running and playing basketball fir over 5 years on competitive AAU teams. Most recently he has started his own organization to inspire young children as they engage in athletics. His goal is to enrich the lives of student athletes through education, competition and encouraging them to continue to pursue opportunities beyond athletics.
Sophia Burnette

Sophia is a junior at St. John’s School. She takes interest in activities such as Pilates, ice skating, and krav maga. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is read or go to the gym. She participates in other organizations such as NCL and Jack and Jill. In the Oliver Foundation, she enjoys writing newsletters and presenting advice on organization, physical health, and mental health. Lastly, Sophia has always loved artistic activities like drawing, fashion design, and ceramics.
Dylan Davis

Dylan is a senior at St. John’s School. She runs the 100 and 200 meter in Track and Field and plays soccer as a forward. Dylan is a member of the Women of Science Club and Science Olympiad. She is an avid reader and loves spending time with her family playing board games.

Natalie is a Senior at Westchester Academy for International Studies. She is a member of several clubs at her school including English, Science and Hispanic Honor Society. She holds offices in Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and Student Council. Natalie is also president of Fuel up to Play 60 and Interact club. As well as a Co-Coach for her odyssey of the mind team. Her goal is to bring the community together and increase involvement through advocacy and volunteering. Outside of school, she does lion dancing and volunteers at the temple. Natalie believes that everyone should learn about the importance of mental and physical health to have overall good health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, and being outside. Natalie aspires to be a pediatric oncologist.

Benjamin Senior at The Kinkaid School. He is passionate about fitness and has been a club swimmer since he was eight years old. As a varsity swimmer, he helped our 200 Free relay set a new school record at our Southwest Preparatory Championship meet and earned All-SPC honors for his freshman and sophomore seasons. Over the past summer, he became re-certified as a lifeguard. A few summers ago, he volunteered at the Houston Methodist Hospital and at Texas Children’s Hospital where he was able to directly work with patients and staff learning new skills. In school, he was a part of the UNICEF club and the Falcon Sound club. He is now a part of the Chess and Podcast club. In Chess club they create tournaments internally and for the high school to join during clubs. In Podcast club, he was able to help my team create two podcasts. One about greatest athletes of all time, before the ESPN ranking, and about ranking the “best” snacks. He especially loves volunteering for the Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament. In his free time, he loves taking his seven-year-old dog, Sparky, on walks in the neighborhood.

Summer a junior at The John Cooper School. She loves to play sports and is on the Varsity volleyball and track team at her school. In addition, at school, shes participate and holds board positions in various medical, mental health, and academic clubs. Outside of school, she is a board member of her NCL chapter and thoroughly enjoys volunteering in her community. Summer loves to read, listen to music, and spend time with my friends and family.
Aditi Vadassery

Aditi is a junior at Clements High School. She serves as the student ambassador for the Texas HART program (Health Ambassadors for a Ready Texas) and is the founder and co-president of the HART club in her school. Through this initiative, Aditi raises awareness about the importance of nutrition among teens, fostering healthier habits in her community. Aditi is a Girl Scout Ambassador which she has been involved in since elementary school. Her Silver Award project focused on addressing eating disorders and empowering teens to develop healthy eating habits. In her free time, Aditi enjoys dancing, painting, and drawing.
